What is centrifugal separation?

Centrifugal separation is to make substance separation by centrifugal force of separator, because of different sedimentation coeffecient, quality, density, buoyancy of substance.

When liquid substance enter the drum, will go to different pathway at the condition of centrifugal force because of different density. Drum rotates aroud the center shaft at certain speed, the mixed liquid will form different layers. The light liquid is near to center, the light liquid is far from center, the solid phase concentrate inwall of drum.

Separation effect depends on many factors such as medium, separator speed and centrifuge time, PH value and temperature.
